Patterned Stuffs? Eye Catching!

Hello... Happy to 'see' you again in the end of my month, hehe, January. Did you know my post about my recommendation on some white fashion stuffs? I do it again nooow....

This is the time for patterned stuffs. Do you like pattern on your look? I do like pattern as a focal point or an accent on my look, but not for head to toe. Some people like having their look patterned from head to toe and it's also awesome. But I chose not to have that kind of look cause I'm not good at combining patterns. But if you could, it's gotta be awesomeeee....

I'm not good at combining patterns, but I've ever known some tips to combine patterns:
1. Wear same patterns with different size
2. Wear same patterns with different colors
3. Wear different patterns with same colors

Well, correct me if I'm wrong...
The point is, don't ever doubt to wear pattern! Cause you can wear it either as an accent or as your head to toe look. One thing I know that pattern is eye catching.

So, these are some products of pattern stuffs I recommend for you to buy. Just click links below and then go to the online shop. Click 'buy' or 'add to cart' or whatever they say and wait your stuffs at home! Easy, right? So, what're you waiting for? Go, click, click, wait, wear!!!!!

How to Style Gingham Prints

How's your day? Now I'm back with styling post. Again and still, with Polyvore. Since I don't have real model and enough clothes.

Have you read my post about 2015 Fashion trend? There, I said that one of fashion trend is gingham prints. So right now, I'd like to show you how to mix gingham item on a look. When I made them on Polyvore, I realized that the gingham item I used are all black. Then, I added 2 looks which used other colors of gingham. So here it is. I have 6 looks for you.

For the first look, I used gingham midi dress. Cause it's for hijabers, so we could put on black cardigan to cover the arms and jeans to cover the legs. To cover the hair, let's wear a blue scarf that matches the jeans' tone. The clutch matches the scarf's color and the shoes match the cardigan and dress. Finally, I finished up this look with candy colored bracelets.

Gingham Mini dress

The second look is sporty. Gingham crop shirt is used to cover the body after wearing a black basic shirt. Next, wear that unique harem pants. For the scarf, I used green because it matches the harem pants. And then, add some accessories that are sporty too, like sneakers and a cool tote bag.

Gingham Crop Top

I don't know the theme of this third look. I just made it. The gingham item I used here is a mini skirt. Paired with a white blouse, it simply chic. For the scarf, I use white with a black a hat on it, so it stays simple. Wear a pair of red pants to colorize the look. A red bag is ready to match the pants and get ready to step with ankle boots!

Gingham Skirt

In the forth look, the gingham is blue and it's a sleeveless crop shirt. I mix it with a white maxi skirt. The skirt is not wide so you'll look straight. So, put in a denim jacket to boost your look! Add some accessories and step with a pair of white ankle boots!
Funky Lady Gingham

The fifth look is soooo chic and girly. I think it's suitable for a working woman. I think it's a good way to dress in the office. As a usual office look, I used blouse and pants, and both are white. Wear a pink gingham midi dress and also pink scarf. Add some accessories and voila! You'll be the best woman in the office.

Mini Dress Gingham

And finally the sixth look!!!! *hosh hosh*
It's a little bit odd. It's girly but also boyish. I pair a pink long sleeve shirt with a gingham maxi skirt. To rock the style, I chose a denim vest that was so rock!!! Pink scarf is a choice to still look chic. Heels and backpack is a must...

By the way, I saw a TV program played a music video which is soooo 2015 fashion trend. Yes! It's Gingham Check by JKT48

It's About Being Better

Assalamu alaikum…

Hello, it’s almost 2 weeks after my latest post. I’m sad I’m not a good blogger. But regret is useless, right? So because this is still the beginning of 2015, I think it’s a good time to start being a better blogger for my blog. Being a better lady for my house. Being a better artist for my canvas. Being a better chef for my kitchen.

I’ve been blogging for about 3 years. I think these things are the reasons why I haven’t been good enough in this blogging world:

  1. I often procrastinate to post the ideas when they came to me.
  2. I wanted my blog to be a fashion blog but I don’t know much about fashion. I’m a shy girl who doesn’t feel easy to have a fashion shoot even a simple ootd. I don’t live around people who care about fashion too.
  3. I didn’t leave many trails on others’ blogs. How could they know my blog, right?
  4. I didn’t do blogwalking. I did. But I just read some blogs that everybody has already known. I joined some groups and communities of bloggers on social media, but didn’t read their blog. Thinking of that, I feel like a mean person.

For those reasons, this is what I want to do for my blog in 2015. In other words, these are my 2015 blog resolutions. Here we are…

  1. Write min. 4 posts per month. It can be a post per week.
  2. My blog is a personal blog. I think I’ll still write about fashion a lot, but I have no reason not to write any other things.
  3. Leave min. 8 comments per month on some blogs from my groups or communities, which means I will leave my trails. I want my readers to leave some comments on my blog, but I didn’t get many. So I think, I should leave comments on others’ blog first.
  4. Read also 8 blog posts per month, especially from my groups or communities. Like the statement above, if I want people to read my blog, I think I should read others’ blog first.
  5. Hits 10000 views.
  6. Change my blog layout. Tidy it up.

Yeah! So happy to wrote the blog resolution in 2015. Cause I’m neither an always-writing nor a having-targets person. But I read a challenge from Indonesian Hijab Blogger (the community I want to join a lot) to make blog resolutions in 2015 and I think it’s so challenging. So I join!

This post is for that IHB Blog Post Challenge. If you are Indonesian, wear hijab, and do blogging, please join! Worth to try. And thank you for making this challenge IHB. Wish me luck with the resolutions... :)

2015 Fashion Trend: 70's, Gingham, Suede

How's your day guys? Or how's your 2014? Hope it was good and full of happiness. Mine is not very special, but I'm thankful for every single thing Allah has given to me. Though, sometimes I did complaining too.

Well actually, I don't really want to talk about 'what's your achievement in 2014' or 'what's your resolution' kind of things. As I planned this blog maximally for fashion, I'd still talk about fashion hehehehe....

So, it's about 2 or 3 weeks ago when I saw a hiring announcement to join internship in a fashion department. It was posted on Instagram by a fashion stylist, Thata Aljundiah. She works in the fashion department of a magazine, Hijabella. It's my favorite magazine, since it's for moslem teenagers and it's full of fashion. Really recommended!

I decided to join though it seems too late :( They asked us to send CV, Photo, and portofolio. Since I'm not (haven't been) really styled people and just play with my Polyvore, I decided to just send some of them and made an article. I wrote a little (so little) about 2015 fashion trend. I wrote it based on some Youtube videos and some articles. So, this fashion trend I wrote was from what we could see in New York Fashion Week 2015 that was held about 3 months ago.

Check this out!

The wheels are always turning. Well, so are the fashion trends are always spinning. In 2015, '70s style will come back. Prepare see bell-bottoms pants and other items that are loose. Suitable for hijabers huh?

2015 Trend: '70s Style

Gingham Prints
Clean, nice, elegant. Gingham print has it! This simple motive is going in again in 2015. Ready for picnic, girls?

2015 Trend: Gingham Prints

Colorful Suede
With this single material, we do not need to do some efforts to look luxurious. It's enough with the simple mix and match, suede will still stand out! Moreover in 2015, the colors of suede increasingly varied. You can look elegant in all situations.

2015 Trend: Colorful Suede

Well, it's my little writing work hehe. I'm actually not the one who's stuck in a trend. I'm trying to be up to date though. I'm planning to have some gingham prints (one is enough). And I think, it's not the trend that lead us, but we who make the trend. Keep stylish!

*I actually used Google translate for some sentences in this post since this is my suddenly-want-to-blog post, hehehe. I think their translation is getting better (y)
